the kampong glam experience
thurs night supper at the local arab street eatery quickly escalate to a near rota turnout. i didn't stay long, fresh from school and before that just managed an hour of shut eye. still its nice to have this many people around for supper. maybe next time we bring this overseas.

thanks azhar for the invites, had a great time rocking metallica on guitar heroes and fantastic mee bandung bruda. for everything else that was great, i left out one detail ... forgot to have our picture taken together. nonetheless, there is a picture taken last week when we met to grab my final fight 4. costumes courtesy of Merdeka.

tranxit outing 2009
a turnout more then expected this time round. initial numbers were of 3 families onlym, but it was a welcomed addition. visited some new homes, fresh off renovations. who knows maybe next year my turn?

hanging out at the washing bay
friday night, mirza and elvan had the inspiration to do car washing at bedok reservoir view, my place. eventhough i have yet to sleep since returning home from work at noon, i stayed around after having desserts at simpang bedok with sue. unfortunately, natures call had cut short my stay at the washing bay.

Segamat trip 2009

its been more then 10 years since i returned to Segamat. somethings are bound to change but not so the infrastructure. basically, everything else was the same. these small crayfish cost RM5 buxx per piece at machap stopover.

taukey keropok
went to taman nusantara to send some wedding cards to sue's side of the family. we were then led to gulai or was it kulai, too dark to see much. returned home with a trunk and backseat full of crackers and goodies worth hundreds of ringgit, thanks to sue's dad. reached home 4 am, too tired to do any tasting.

boom boom pow
a fun filled evening of firewerks, firecrackers and rockets at an overseas location. the firewerks display was unbelievable, still can't believe that i was the one who lighted em up. light up and run ... thats the drill for the night. hope to return again soon for a more cheographed fire display. before that we ate dinner at a nearby kelong. food was awesome! need to remember how to return there.

iftar @ york hotel jb
combining both my sis and mum bday together last weekend, decided to eat out at jb. also went to the canopy bazaar at larkin selling all kinds of crispy crackers and hari raya goodies. that place was hot! lack of ventilation. the day before we break fast at hajah maimunah, jalan pisang. that place has better food choices on a normal day. supposed to be iftar with some friends, last minute cancel, upset ar!

100yrs old gate
in view of celebrating 100 years of central fire station, i'd like to put up a rare picture in work clothes. also this marks the last shift for 2 ording personnels; fadzli and nasri. best of luck!

unfortunately there are no pixx for memories this time round, we'll just make do with a mental picture of the whole event (as krule said). there were too many thing to catch up on and still have many more stories to share even as we bade each other farewell. we missed zake&liza, acit&itah, fazlie&nuraini, as they could not make it to the gathering. maybe next time ya guys! special thanx to lanz for organizing this gathering.

on a different note, my arm feeling much better now. thank you all for your concern. going for another session of physiotherapy on the 10th of this month.

natas fair; 29 aug 09
hooked up with 5 star travels for this year end trip. got it at quite an affordable price too. a lot of good deals but must really pay attention to the details before signing on the dotted line. the fair ends sunday. expect heavy traffic.
